I have a friend at a magizine company that I am going to pitch this idea to and see what he says. There isnt any mag like this for the domestic sport compact other than nopi that I know of.

Really so if there was a mag with csvts and svtf's in it you wouldnt get it. Then I guess your loss.

I already have Terry Haines on board to do a column when needed. He will be the resident Contour/Mustique guru.

I have the best tuner around for these cars Wayne at hypillauto.com to take care of the tuning section

I am going to do the diy section and edit the mag.

I have several others lined up for thier respective car make and models.

I think that would be awesome! I've always wanted to see a magazine focused more towards our type of cars.

It's pretty much either muscle or import now, and not much in between.

Has this been posted on any other forum but here?

I wouldn't subscribe, but I'm sure there's a ton of people that already subscribe to sport compact tuner mags that would want in on this.
I can definitely see a good chunk of NECO people wanting in on this (www.newcougar.org)

Yup, I wasn't going to post where I took it out of, due to some bickering between he and I, and thought I'd show him I'm not all 'negative'

Seems cool but good luck. I have about 5% faith that this will actually work and someone will want to pick up the idea on a bunch of slow, low interest out of production cars that there really isn't a huge "aftermarket" world for.

I think it would be cool, but I won't hold my breath.

a domestic/american tuner mag is a pretty good idea. svtf, svtc, probes, escorts, cavi, neon, and many other american made/domestic cars would get there own mag instead of muscle and import mags

Then why hasn't it happened yet? I highly doubt Ryan is the first to think of it...
