I am thinking about that race in Fontana. Why not meet somewhere, and all go to the race. I would dearly love to see a those cars on this new track.
Are there still tickets available?

Can't believe I lost everything I wrote before while going back and forth to the Cal Speedway website. Oh well...Tickets are $45 for reserved seating and $35 for general admission seating. I've been going to races at the track since it opened. Usually first time supporting events don't sell out. I imagine since the race is 3 or 4 hours long that it will start by noon or one o'clock. Cal's website didn't specify a starting time. I watch these guys up at Laguna Seca and that's when the "main events" usually start up there. If we decide to do this en force, as far as meeting somewhere goes, maybe Ontario Mills or something like that?

I had the same experience with the Cal Speedway web site. What is the difference between reserved or not? I am really up for this. I am planning on going one way or the other. if we meet Ontario Mills sounds great! After the race we could get back together for dinner or something.
What do you guys think? Come on lets hear from u guys!!

I can meet you guys at Ontario, if the others are willing, but I cannot go to the race. So, therefore, everyone needs to decide where to meet up....

Yeah, the Speedzone thing was tentatively scheduled on the same day as the race at Fontana. I suppose it could be rescheduled, yes? To answer Jim's question, I think the more expensive seats are higher up in the grandstands so you can see more of the track and the wall doesn't obstruct the view of the cars when they pass in front of you. There are also seats in the infield on temporary bleachers but the official track newsletter I have doesn't mention how to obtain tickets for them. For me, if I can get general admission so I can wander the infield to take pictures, that's probably what I'll do. Oh, and according to the newsletter, the race starts at 11:30 and is 4 hours long.
