so a bat with a brain the size of a pea can do it, but a human can't?

obviously, him playing video games is definitely a mash and win type of method... but why couldn't he have rewired his brain to work differently? there's been cases of neural pathways being re-routed by the brain before...

Ever tried to read braille?
I know about other senses making up for ones that are lost but have not heard anything even close to that extent. If this is true then more power to him. Am I the only one who doesn't 100% believe this or just the only one dumb enough to say something?
I guess I should shut up before I look even more like a jackass. I'm not trying to call him a fraud or anything, I just want to see it. I really don't mean to come off as a heartless bastard...

Bats have specially developed sensory organs that have evolved over thousands of years that make echolocation possible. I just don't see a human being able to do it.

humans do it all the time. surround sound ring a bell? you see that helicopter flying from left to right on the screen and the sound travels with it. you could close your eyes and know approx. where it is on screen. it's simply a natural ability that we all have. this guy has just trained his ears and brain to use it at a higher level with more accuracy.

I've seen a this in probably a dozen news stories. the most recent one I remember was a group of people doing this to ride bikes, and not just up and down the road, one group used to go into mountain trails. they either clicked with their tongue or had little hand clickes. they said it took a while to learn, but it's def. believable.

Frankly I'm sceptical too, but more power to him if true...
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Surround sound and making clicking sounds and listening to a faint echo of it are two different things. But whatever. It doesn't matter.
