It's not everyday you get hear about something this phenomenal. Blind teen uses "echolocation" to see the world! I know, it sounds like a story from a tabloid. I haven't found any links to vids of him in action, but I've seen a couple. You've gotta see this kid in action!

i still dont understand how he can play video games though.
maybe he can only play certain ones?
i saw a news thing a few weeks ago on an older guy who could do the same thing with the echolocation.

sounds like he's playing fighting games, and the reporter also wrote that his fingers would fly.
In high school, I used to play fighting games with my experienced gamer friends.
I'd kick their asses pretty frequently because I'd just mash the buttons like mad.

My wife is blind. She doesn't echolocate, but with a little audio help at the post she can play horse shoes pretty well. She's also a deadly shot with a 9mm - in the dark!  I've learned a few things from her in that reguard.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Call me a skeptic or a heartless bastard or whatever, but I would have to see him take his fake eyes out of his head to believe it. It just doesn't seem possible to me. Video games? Come on. And fooseball? I just can't believe it without seeing it.

That I believe, but I don't think the human ear can pick up echos out on a street somewhere. And be accurate enough to tell a fire hidrant from a trash can? No way.
