He's a local guy I know, and has a pretty sweet setup. I believe he is, or is VERY close to the fastest AWD Typhoon in the 1/4 mile. Most of the big dogs are going to RWD.

That would seem to somewhat defeat the point of actually using a Typhoon.. just use a normal truck and turbo it.
