sometimes, you gotta man up. you don't have to kick the dudes ass, but you certainly could have walked over there and reccomend that he direct his anger towards the kids parents instead.

I'm not a small man, but what I lack in size I more than make up for in tact, diplomacy, and ultimately I can handle myself in a throw down. I'd have walked up (with smile) & let him know his outburst was not appropriate and suggested some anger management theropy. Depending on his reaction, I might have asked him to appologize to the child for being so harsh.

I've stated before, part of a being a man is to protect women, children, and defenseless animals from harm and/or cruel or harsh treatment. Trouble is, psycho, out-of-control turds like that guy generally get away with bad behavior because there are few who would confront them.
