Glad to hear it all worked out. I am very fond of Amex in their customer service and fraud aspects. A little over 10 years ago when my dad was dying of cancer we had some home health aides in to take care of him (he needed care 24/7 and we couldn't do it all ourselves). One of the aides took his Amex and charged about 600-700 with it. We didn't realize this until after my father had died (when the bill came) but not only did we not have to pay a cent (as we shouldn't have) but Amex took the steps needed to help prosecute the guy.
Didn't mean to threadjack, just wanted to let others know.
