They probably would have scalped the tickets anyway.
Just a thought though, are you getting emails from Paypal? Perhaps who ever broke into your account changed the email address and thats why you weren't getting notified? I would think they would send an email to your current address to let you know that your email had been changed, but who knows. I had someone break into my ebay acct and was getting hate messages from ebayer's that didn't get the products I wasn't selling
I also had to change my paypoal passwords
