Anyone else getting a heat wave right now?

Heat index here for today was 100-104!!

I know those temps might be normal for some of you guys out west, but here it's not. Plus the humidity level. Feel like you can't breath.

First time I saw the news throw this in too:

Also - Air Quality will be approaching unhealthy levels starting today, so those with respiratory distress need to remember to take precautions with low level Ozone at its height in the afternoon and early evening.

Yea we are getting that here too. The next couple days are supposed to be around 100 and as humid as always. Definitely sucks.

Just checked the temp and we're sitting at 105° with a heat index of 110°. Blechk!!!!! The indoor temp in our shop is 106°. Damn insulation isn't worth crap in this heat!!! It's our fifth day in a row at 100+, and we're supposed to stay that way through the end of the week. :sigh:

EDIT - I just checked the temp in my old home of Kansas City. They're temp is 99°, but the heat index is a hellish 116°!!!

I can't find today's high, but yesterday it was 101 and index of course much higher than that.
It was pretty hot today as well, but not quite as bad, I think about 97/98. Storms came in about 4:30 and now it's only 79.

Way to hot here in Chicago. What makes it worse is the A/C broke down!

I also have a slight headache right now. I am butt naked, spread eagle in front of my air conditioner in my house.

right now it's 105 with a heat index of 110. It's been up to 116 lately though.........the temp, not the heat index.
