No thats the owner, Jason. My dad didnt make it. Boy I didnt know that about Kirkham not supplying Shelby. My dad says that they are still getting both the glass and aluminum bodies. He didnt mention anything about where they were coming from. You are correct though, the one Jason was running was a glass car with a CSX #. The glass cars are very very nice. The only other glass cars I really like are the ERAs.

I know the original 289s ran leafs on the front as well as the rear and coilovers on the 427s. The cars my dad sells do have leafs just like the originals and coilovers on the 427. These are not realated to the Mustang II whatsoever. The geometry has been changed for better handling but still almost exactly the same as the originals. Im not sure what car you were looking at, so I cant vouch for what you saw. Might have been a one off, or somthing. I have worked on a few of these myself and I assure you they are not Mustang II. Worked on quite a few real cars as well when I worked for XKs (one driven by Phil Hill!!!!!!!) laugh.

Yeah I heard Shelby Corp was sort of Flakey. I dont really know, I wont say anything. XKs has nothing to do with there business practices.

By the way Im a 289FIA car fan. I dont really like the 427. The 289 is what beat Ferrari in 65. My dad built a Unique 289FIA car that tricked Shelby himself. He asked my dad if it was a real team car. He sold it about 5 yrs ago. My dad is real into GT350s. He also has a 65 Falcon Sprint that Im going to buy off of him next yr (6-8months). White with blue Shelby stripes, and realMinilite wheels, like the original Trans Am cars.

Yeah for being 28, I have been around these cars for over have that.

By the way if you ever see a real radical Gaurdsman blue 65 HI-PO coupe. A B-production VARA car, thats my old car. You can tell it by the Carbon Fibre hood. Its owned by a doctor now.
