I haven't had a chance to do the test you told me about, but I did unplug the electrical connector for the main 02 sensor just to see if the car would run better. It had gotten progressively worse until the point where it was bucking on acceleration. It would feel like it had no power, than all of a sudden, the engine would take off.
With the main o2 sensor unplugged, the problems where 80% better.
