Since you can make 20 gal. of Bio w/ 2 gal. of Ethanol and 20 gal. of used fryer grease, at-home costs probably won't go up much. Unless the demand for the grease gets to the point that a restaurant will charge you to haul it off instead of giving it to you for free.




That was my point. And I'm pretty sure the process needs 20% alcohol, not 10%. Methanol being easier to use in the reaction than the ethanol that you mentioned.
