The whole E85 is a joke though. Between the millage that you get with E85 vs. Regular your paying about the same.

Biodiesel is where its at. Give me a biodiesel hybirdand we'd be good to go!




That, and the fact that there probably isn't enough cropland to supply the corn to fuel even HALF our daily usage, and that we'd have to quit growing ANYTHING else to reach even that.

Ethanol just isn't a viable long-term solution by itself. It will probably take some combination of Ethanol, Bio-Diesel, and drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Preserve to LESSEN our dependence on foreign oil (I don't think we can ever fully divorce ourselves from them, no matter what people say). I think the greatest potential lies in Bio-Diesel though. Heck, you can make your own for around 80 or 90 cents a gallon.
