That's good news for the oil industry. The CEO's will get millions more in bonuses and stocks. I wish I had money to invest in the oil stock market.

what really sucks is that the gas stations haven't even replaced the gas in their tanks from the $2.64 price as of yet...

Yeah, but remember when the price goes down that the gas stations haven't replaced the gas in their tanks from the $3.19 price, but you'll still be paying $2.89. (or whatever price)

That is what I have been doing with the Fiance and my gas since Spetember. We have gotten $102 in rebates since then. I don't know the address to get one, but I have a Shell card. Good gas, and yeah 5% rebate towards future Shell purchase every month.

2.93 - 5% = $2.78 for Standard for the truck
3.16 - 5% = $3.00 for Premium for the SVT and the Mini

here in the Phoenix area, it's about $2.90 a gallon for regular unleaded. It's only $2.89 if you get it on base or at Costco though.

I heard that if things get real ugly in the middle east this summer we could be looking at $4+/gallon very soon.

I would expect them to skyrocket. A barrel of oil is at about $76-77 which is the highest ive ever seen it. When it hit $3.00 a gallon when Katrina hit, oil was only at $70/barrel. Its gone up about $4 a barrel just this week.

I can't wait until E-85 is mass produced. We'll be self sufficient and it will be around $.80 a gallon to get. To bad gas companies are greedy bastards and won't make the switch until its the law.

Its been costing me to fill the Contour full about $35-$40 for mid-grade(89 octane).
