I've been fancying an aftermarket exhaust for my SVT Tour.
Borla is the obvious first choice, but I'm not so keen on their prices.
Bassani is equally pricy & I'm not sold on their sound, being a bit much for my tastes; e.g. too loud & "ricy."
My factory Y-pipe will definitely be 86ed at the same time, so I am now curious about South County Autosport's system. They claim it comes with its own Y-pipe which is curious since it states it is a "cat-back system." They also offer the SHO Shop pipe which is equally curious because why they would offer a competitor's product if they have their own version?
So, my question is whether anyone has this set-up or is familiar with it to give me some idea if it is a viable alternative?
I'm concerned about whether it may be too loud & also how durable it is due to the aluminized tubing versus stainless steel.
I do intend to pay SCA a visit one of these days to tour their facility & ask them directly, but any assistance my fellow SoCal CEGers could give in the meantime would be appreciated.
