Actually, my Saleen finally showed up yesterday morning after sitting around in the moving company's warehouse in Wichita for over two weeks.
It was a bit dirty from the trip but it arrived relatively unscathed except for (4) scrape marks underneath the leading edge of the rear spoiler that weren't there when I dropped it off. They almost appeared like the car had been strapped down at those locations since they were fairly evenly spaced & the damage was limited to specific areas, almost like clamps had been attached.
Of course neither the van driver nor the moving company representative knew anything about them.
The moving company is going to send me a claim form & I have 9 months to receive repair estimates to file the claim.
Considering all the headaches this company has caused me, the estimates are going to be significantly padded.
What all this means is that the Saleen, considering its present condition, is likely to stay home for the show & instead I'll bring the Contour.
Unless I can get the Saleen ready in time...
