Can you powder coat drums? If I get a new set I would like them not to turn to the rust coating like the ones on the rear now...

I don't see why not, as Eastwood Company in Pottstown sells a high-temp powder selling at $20.99 a 1/2 lb.

Or, you can just go to Auto Zone and buy rattle cans of VHT high temp paint for, what? $12.99?

I just slapped my drums on as they came out of the box because I was in a hurry to give the car back to college daughter for a road trip.

Next week I might just pull and paint them, along with the front rotors which already are developing rust after a few weeks.

Eastwood also sells a 1200-degree high temp coating in gray, stainless steel, silver and black for $15.00 a can.

They advertise it as a header coating.
