So I lack imagination. It could mean a host of other things. It could mean "...so I threw a rock through the window", "...so I keyed it like a jealous ex-girlfriend", or "...so I didn't really do anything but I wanted it to seem like I did because telling stories like that on the intarweb is cool."
Personally I will guess jealous ex-girlfriend keying.

You see, if my reading comprehension was up to par today I would have seen that. However, it was a long night and I got up early. That is my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!

Exactly. He had his chance to act like a responsible human, but he chose to continue acting like an azz. His choice at that point. I don't act like an azz to people and I expect the same treatment back. When that doesn't happen I act accordingly.

Did you perhaps stop and think for one minute that the yuppie may have thought that indeed bikes were small and you had plenty of room? Did you explain calmly to him that no, in fact you didn't have room? Primary instigator of fights is inability or refusal to see the other person's point of view. From what I'm reading, he didn't think he was being a jerk one bit, and you certainly didn't help the situation by not explaining the problem. back at ya ... especially for your hypocracy. That kind of behavior is EXACTLY why the world isn't a better place.

Slashing the tires put you way below the driver of the BMW. He was inconsiderate and in the wrong for parking that way, but it is no excuse for damaging his property. It is never acceptable to slash someone's tires. Not for any reason.
I would have had the mall management or police have his car fined and towed.
