She saw me coming first. She closed the door but she looked angry. I spent 45 minutes in Wal-Marts looking at movies, shoes and buying a Sub Way sandwich. When I returned the angry woman was just getting off of her cell phone. She had been in the hot sun on her cell phone all that time.
What do you think about cell phones? I never want to own a cell phone because I know it would require too much attention.
Meh, cell phones don't require attention. Had someone called me when I was about to go into Wal-Mart, I would have just gone about my business in the store while talking on the phone... and a very, very small percentage of my calls take more than 5-10 minutes. Back in high school I didn't want a cell phone because I didn't want my parents keeping track of me 100% of the time (hehe), but now a cell phone is almost essential for the college life. The convenience of it is undeniable. I just got a headset so I can talk hands-free in my car now, which is a big plus. Without it, I hate driving a manual while trying to talk on the phone!
A lot of people do need to be more polite though. If I get a call while I'm with someone, at least I'll say "excuse me" before answering it.
