I hated the huge beak on the new ones but in the right trim and color they aren't too bad looking. However they are still not big enough for her crash record.

Actually she wants to get an SUV, the posture is much better for her back versus a car.

Unfortunately she is not a Ford fan and vows never to own one lol! I suggested a contour that was in our works classifieds and she laughed!

I am pretty sure whatever we buy will be jap cause they hold their value better.

Example my contour is 3 years newer, a loaded V6 and hers is base and still worth more!

Hey if she don't know her cars get her a Mazda Tribute.
It's a Ford yet Japanese.
Glade to hear she is ok. Good luck finding a new vehicle if you have to.

If she's looking at SUVs specifically for posture I'd recommend checking some of the small two-box cars out there now too like the xB or PT Cruiser. Much better on gas, easier to maneuver in tight spots, easier to get in and out of, lower center of gravity, etc. Not the most stylish of vehicles but far more practical. I didn't like the driving position of the xB (felt like I was in a school bus!) but the PT is surprisingly nice - a friend just bought one to complement her parents' two.

If the car is totalled, of course.

Unfortunately she is too smare. She knows they are Escapes, which she thought were too small and under powered.

The Sequoia would be great, but way to far out of out ball park.

She hates the Xb, PT Cruiser, HHR and Element so those are all out. She wants something a bit larger like a Murano.

The car isn't totalled and is going to get fixed unfortunately. However we may sell it in the near future.

Is she a drag racer?! Even the 4 cyl has enough power IMO for anyone looking to get from point a to b.

Are you serious! Those things are doggs! I guess we are more interested in looking into something with 240hp+.

She has been burdened with the lackluster of the Camry for too long. She actually enjoys driving, unlike a lot of women.
