which was in reference to Aliasjerk's offer of the lowest prices.
Basically, Aliasjerk got owned by Bill J. with the $75 difference from his quote of: "if anybody needs a new clutch for a 95-96 2.0L im the person to go too. Whatever price he gives, ill go considerbaly lower."
So, even with shipping of ~$20, Bill J. is still $55 lower.
Pay attention por favor!

He was referring to the price HE paid, and that if anyone wanted one, he would sell one that HE HAS for less than Bill J now sells his at.

Well that would have been a good idea for Aliasjerk to mention that he had ONE clutch for sale. I was under the impression that he had a hookup on those clutches. I even checked his sig to see if he had a clutch for sale. I guess this was one of those cases, where it could be taken either way. Mark

I took it the same way--that AJ was offering a hook-up, but his "cost of goods" was $260. IOW, to honor his boast, he'd have to take a big loss on a bunch of these just to unload them.
I guess if I'd known all of AJ's history, I might have understood the context and guessed the right meaning.
Function before fashion.
