Discuss ... any Bostoners affected by the traffic? Some of my coworkers were 1.5 hours late to the office. I'm chilling in Somerville with my friends for now before heading back to Millbury. Thankfully I left early enough (and get off at 128 north) so I wasn't affected much.
This shouldn't have happened at all.
Nobody expects a 40 foot square piece of concrete to fall while they're in a tunnel, especially not for a project that cost billions of dollars. I'm glad the man survived, but it'll be horrible when he finds out his friend/spouse was killed by this. Now we're hearing that this tunnel was the cause for concern by previous inspector generals too.
