Did you click the links posted? I posted pictures of mine. 
And wouldn't you think a Cougar shift knob would come from a dealer.
It's about $50-60.

01-02 Cougars. The 99-00 had a nasty one in my opinion. I have a B&M shifter and knob on my Cougar.

i dont have a piccy of my knob  but its aluminium (correct spelling) with 6 little blue led's around the outside
