Has anyone had a local shop install headers?
If so, how much and overall feelings of the job they did.
Thanks!

Hi Bob, how is the SVT? I remember the screen name.
Have to ask some of the other V6 owners, mine is sold off twice in past year and half.

Thanks for the replies, I think I will just have to deal with the small leak in the manifold for now, I just cant spend 400 for headers and then another 400 for install. If anyone knows anyone cheaper, let me know

Looks like you're doing it yourself then. Bring it to Grand Rapids and I'll do for $250. It will cost you $40 in gas back and forth though.

400 was the best shop quote I got about 7 months back around here. Its pretty difficult if the shop is concerned about removing you pre-cats for emmissions reasons....the guy I know doesnt care.
I have done an install before and would help you out if you decide to go at it yourself. It can be done in a day, but I would set aside a weekend just in case there are unforseen issues.
