I hope so, but GM's concepts to production hasn't had a good track record lately. It's kind of ironic that when the Camaro finally comes out, the Mustang will probably come out with thier next generation(just like in the 60's).

I really like the GTO. The Mustang just killed the GTO market with the retro styling. Mmmmmmmmmm maybe used GTO's will be more available at a cheaper price.......nope probably more expensive.

The exhaust doubles as curb-feelers.

The exhaust is that way to mimic those on the 60's GTOs.

I didn't like the GTO at first because it looked too much like the previous generation GP, but it grew on me and I then really liked it, even tried to lease one before the Crossfire (long story, trust me ) IMO its about as close to having an M3 thats possible for a regular working stiff like me. I'm not saying its an M3 but its close in size, although a bit bigger, but has alot more power and the interior is on par with the M3 IMO. Who knows, maybe I'll end up with one of those when my lease is up because the car will be had for about $18-22K for an 05'-06' in a couple years I'll take my 05' in silver w/ red interior and 6 speed please

Never could gel with the car. The engine felt great, but it had so many issues with being an old design compounded by Sunfire styling and a poor adaptation to US standards (I think whoever designed the fuel tank should be slapped), then needed an overly high pricetag to be profitable.
Then, when it came time to upgrade/refine the car, they primarily gave it what it needed the least of: additional power.

The car needed a couple things to make it great: -NO spoiler option -nicer factory rims -a diet of about 500 lbs -factory aftermarket grill should've been OEM I wonder what the next GTO will look like, hopefully better than the Camaro. Sorry, but the concept Camaro is ugly IMO and I think they (GM) should've done a better job on it like Ford with the Mustang and DC IS going to do with the Challenger Damn you GM, I used to be all about you and I just can't get over the fact that you drop the ball yet again, oh well, atleast you improved the Corvette, haven't messed that up

So anyone else have any opinions on the rumored LS-based 500+ci engine GM has in the works? Sounds to me like an excuse to put the LS7 into the upcoming Camaro.
