Mark, you said you checked the wiring to the crank position sensor, but did you physically unplug it and check the pins in the harness. The CPS sits so close to heat during engine operation that you could have lost some of the solder in the harness. If you haven't wiggled the wires in the harness, give it a try. You may find too much play in the connection. And double check that you havent lost a pin off theCPS itself. Also double check your ground strap for the coil. I'd be willing to bet its the damn CPS though.

Are you checking the CAM POS. Sensor or the Crank Pos. Sensor????
