OK, got you. I had the same one, but it appears different from the shims on the Saab site that was linked earlier. I tried running the a/c with the shim out completely, but it still didn't work. Guess that I might be into a new clutch anyway.
I also wonder if the process of removing the clutch didn't hurt things as well. It was on there but good, and I had to pry with a screw driver to get it off.
