OK, I tried the a/c clutch air gap adjustment today. When I whacked on the a/c clutch, the a/c started up beautifully. So, I figured I just need to remove and/or adjust the shims. Problem is, I couldn't find any, and if there are any, it is impossible to get in there to get at them.

How can I get the shims out. If I can't, then I will have to nab a new a/c clutch.
