My rear middle seat belt that mounts to the rear deck is stuck. It is fully tight and will not allow any slack to come out. I'm not quite sure how it happened but it's preventing me from being able to fold down my rear seat.

The most I could find on how to fix (in the manual and troubleshooting threads) is that you need to find the little hole and push it in with a pin and this will release the belt. Where is this hole located? I popped off the plastic trim piece on the rear deck to try and get a better look the mechanism but I don't see where it is hanging up at. A good descripstion or pic would be great.

Thanks

This little hole is in the "small" buckle assembly near the driver side rear passenger buckle. Push a paper clip in it and it will releae that small safety belt "tongue".

As for the stuck belt, if you are on a slope, it won't release. Need the car to be horizontal.

I'm confused...are we talking about the same thing?

When I say jammed I mean that the middle passenger seat belt is not plugged in. It is tight against the rear seat. When you pull on the seat belt, it will not let slack out. This is preventing me from flopping down the rear seat and/or using this seatbelt. You can hear metal clicking in the mechanism on top of the rear deck when I try to pull out slack. Like a metal pin or something is in the way and its smaking off the metal gear which is not letting the metal gear turn to release more slack in the seat belt. Hope I explained it better.

No, Tony is right. Look at the buckle where the belt locks in. Pin sized hole, colored red inside. Push a paper clip or a pick into it and release the belt.

ahh I found it. The buckle I needed was under the bench seat. It was the tiny one w/out the big red release button After I popped out the seat I saw what I needed. Since my car is strickly a one passanger(sometimes a two passanger w/ the g/f) I dedcided to tuck all the buckles under the bench for a cleaner look. If need be I can pop them out but I doubt I will any time soon. In all the cars I've owned no one has ever sat in the back.

Thanks guys!
