Lompoc is the one other place we go for soccer...over christmas though?
Hmmm?perhaps we should see if we can put togther some kind of CEG meet in Lompoc, then, around Christmas time.  It'd be a great opportunity to attract more people to the CEG site.  There are a lot of Contours and Mystiques here in Lompoc, but I think very, very few whose owners know about the CEG.  My own effort to enlighten them, consisting of magnetic signs on both sides of my own Mystique (See picture below.), has not produced any obvious results.

But Lompoc, being a small town where not much happens, it wouldn't be too difficult, I think, to get the local paper to run an article about an impending gathering of Contour/Mystique enthusiasts in town, and I don't imagine it'd be too hard to get them to include the CEG's website URL in that article.  Perhaps this would get the attention of all the Contour/Mystique owners who have failed to notice my signs.

Moonlight Blue 1996 Mercury Mystique GS , Zetec engine, ATX.  No mods. (Well, OK, one mod.  Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios.  I liked the Tempo's radio better.  That counts as a mod, doesn't it?  I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare.  I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars.  Does this count as a mod?  If so, I guess I have two mods.  Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)
