I went out and paid $140 to have my widows tinted to 20% and IMHO, it turned out AWSOME!!! I can't roll them down for a week, which means that I just saved at the drive through. ANYWHO, here are teh pics, tell me wacha think...
The first few don't show the true darkness becasue my G/F had her highbeams on to try to give me light, so it shown through my windsheild...

This last one was tekn with the car running, I didn't shut the door all of the way if your wondering about the door gap. I had the car running and the radio was on... it has a bright blue display, along with my guages you can't see it can you?

I'll have daytime pics up tomorrow night.

IMO I'd drop a couple bucks and have the windshield strips painted, but the car and tint looks great

Just use some mothers back to black on those strips, mine looked the same way at one time. I'm dropping new tint into my car sometime soon, probably within the month.

Both the tint and the focus wheels really "update" the look of the car. Just tell people you have the limited edition 2004 model Contour!

And yeah, a little dressing on those discoloured windsheild trim strips will bring them right back to life.

I miss my tint.... . Stupid cop! Looks nice though. And I agree you'll need some bright bulbs for backing up.

Thatnk you for all of the compliments. I'll have to find something for those strips, anyone know what to look for?

Also, here are some after the wash and wax job.

I think I will say it's a special edition rare 2004 Contour, you can't see it too well, but it has a "Special Edition" emblem on the fenders where it would say SE or GL...
I didn't do it either, I just never had the heart to take it off.

My G/F's dad told me to gets me some new wheels... Looks like I found my next visual mod.
