Saw this Concept R & thought it had promise. How many of us CEGers would give this VW a test drive? I searched in CI for the past year under 'Concept R' & came up empty, so if it's a repost, sorry. VW Concept R They've also got a thing called the Eos that will be coming to North America soon. Hard-top convertables are becoming all the rage - 'bout time. The Eos kinda reminds me of a grown up Geo Metro. Despite that it has promise, I think.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Re: Where is VW going now?
My guess would be in for more repairs like all the others!
Looks like a Sky and boxter hybrid.
Noth'in special. Is there really much of a market out there for 2 seater's?

Yep, it looks like the Saturn Sky a bit and personally I think the Sky RL will give VW a run for their money. The Sky's interior also looks a ton better.

I think they scrapped it because the "ego emissions" were too high.

Yeah Jim, that's old news. I thought you were gonna talk about VW going back to the Golf's original name, Rabbit, to help struggling sales. Apparantly, the MK4 Golf is a BJ and doesn't sell. So VW changes the name back to Rabbit and calls it a whole new platform. But hey, it's got a 2.5L I5!
