funny story behind those things. my friend had a 1990 civic hatch all riced out. we went to the mall one day and he left those on to look "cool". when we got back to his car, there was RICE spray painted all down the sides and on the hood of his car later that month, after he spray painted the car black, he totalled it on a curb.

i think those were what started the whole ricey movement. wich is just pointless crap to put on your car . that and tons of vinyl. the aluminum spoilers didnt come till later on after the blue bulbs.
