So...I topped off the brake fluid assuming perhaps that was the reason why my brake light was illuminated, and I was correct to an extent as the light disappeared. I read that the low level in brake fluid could be the result of worn brake pads, but they are all rather new. Then, 4 days later I noticed globby stains all over the driveway (causing my fathers subsequent rage) small and big blobs, they seemed to originate around the wheel locations, all these blobs of brake fluid I suppose. So, today I was driving and, of course, the brake light came on again, I pulled over, checked, and indeed, the fluid level dropped once again drastically and here I am now. So, Can someone please tell me why these leaks (leak) happened, a possible price range for a repair(I'M A POOR STUDENT!!!), and what parts and location I should look at specifically under the vehicle to locate the leaks. Thanks in advance! Much respect!
