Mine were completely worthless. I worked at it with the guys at the local stereo shop for 2 hours before it said f*** it and just smashed the front bezel to pieces, I was then able to stick a small flat screwdriver between the head unit and the trim and got the clips popped. I did scratch the trim a bit but only in areas where the head unit or mounting kit covers it up so no big deal (unless you wanted to save the factory stereo).
I would have gone to a different shop if it took 2 hours...
