Sony isn't THAT bad. The capacitor on the coil pack is not grounded or the ignition wires are old. "Racing" wires might cause noise. If you have a carbon fiber hood, it will not shield the ignition. Try running another car, hood up parked near the antenna, see if it causes the same interference while your engine is off.
