Joe Sweet who owns The Speed Shop? If so, the story is almost true LOL -- My buddy Chris Weber helped me build my Cougar in my garage over a summer who had a Cougar with a 3L in it which Jaged (member here) later purchased. My car was later taken to The Speed Shop to get painted and completely finished because Chris worked there and Joe and Brian painted the car.. Joe is a great guy and does great work -- I'll be taking my CSVT there later to get it painted after I finish the bodywork myself. Cougar needs to go back there soon too to fix some issues.
Go check out the shop now that you live in Rockford... they are right next to the racetrack on Torque Rd.
