Well, I was at bestbuy today, they had a sale on a Gateway laptop.
1.5Ghz Celeron M (yeah, I know I know... but bear with me)
256 MB of memory (I know... but a 512 stick is dirt cheap)
60 gigs (plenty for me)
SXGA monitor with the cool Glossy finnish
DVD/CD-RW burner
SD card port
802.11g wireless
5 lbs, and very thin
about 2 hours of battery life...
A very basic laptop, which should get me through school work and such... See, I want this because Im planning on bringing my desktop along with a little more... beef to it.
The laptop is $600, it looks very nice feels very solid... the only thing I could find wrong with it would be the memory... which can cheeply be upgraded... Seem like a good deal?
