Riesling is like the Carona of Mexican beer.
It's a cheap wine and should always be priced cheap. If you are paying alot for Riesling....well nevermind.

You're opinion might matter if you could spell Corona.

I think you mean that Riesling is to wine as Corona is to Mexican Beer.

Smackdown time.
If you're serious about what you're sayin', find a different school 'cause...
FACT: Riesling is one of the most desirable grape varieties on the planet.
FACT: It's been around in its current form since the 15th century.
FACT: Riesling has the distinction of being the most noble of the noble grapes.
Here's a link.
READ
Variations (ancestors) of this grape were among the original (if not the original) "nectar of the Gods", much regaled in story & song. It is speculated that they may be among the original grape varieties first cultivated for production of wine.
Basic rule of thumb for you, Sparky: If you enjoy the wine & were happy with the price you paid for it, then that is the wine for you. Who are we to deny somebody a bottle of riesling if it is priced at $50, or even $5000. If they want it, I'll sell it to 'em.
Wine is a constant proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. - Benjamin Franklin
Both to the rich and poor, wine is the happy antidote for sorrow. - Euripides.
Back on topic; I've found a Columbia Winery Cellarmasters Reserve that is reasonably priced & has an OUTSTANDING depth of flavor & aroma. The finish was just a little less than perfectly smooth, but a little age will fix that.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

You are saying information you just looked up on a .com website is fact. I think I will trust more credited information coming from a Professor at a credited University and people that run a winery for a living than someone from wine.com
Then again I guess you take everything you read on the internet as fact.
I never said it has not been around for a long time but the bottom line is there are alot better wines on the market.
