A/C compressor clutch

My problem seems to be that the clutch on the A/C compressor rubs and it makes a metal on metal sound, almost like a rattling. Then once the car is warmed up and the RPM's drop and the car has a little bit of a rougher idle, it almost looks like the pulley on the A/C compressor shakes. It almost seems as though the pully on the compressor is loose and so it rubs the clutch and it also shakes at lower RPM's, but I don't really know.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Well I searched and it seems like the clutch is fairly cheap.

Would it be easy to replaced? Could I do it myself?

I had a shop do mine when it went out... they charged me $260. parts and labor. Its not easy.
