http://www.open-track.com/

Its that time of the year again!

I've signed up for the Sunday event, I've notcied that fewer cars end up going on a Sunday so that equals more track time!

If any one is interested in running the 3 mile full course now would be the time to sign up! Even if you have a stock car or never been to a road course, no need to worry. They have instructors and they allways put you in the right class (don't have to worry about those pesky Vipers getting in your way).

Everyone is encouraged to sign up! Go represent contour my homies...

It looks like I'll be leaving Saturday afternoon and stay overnite at a hotel nearby.

Racing ends around 6pm so I think I can make it back before 9

Its $145 for one day and $210 for two days, I would go for two days but I don't have the baffels installed in the pan just yet...

You should go CHOWWW!

Welcome! I'll be going on sunday, I would highly reconmend replacing your brake fluid with synthetic fluid. If you boil the fluid your car can get stuck at the track because the clutch shares the brake fluid and will not shift gears. This has happend to sevral people...

other than that, empty out your car and have fun!

Dave

oh yeah, I would definately buy a helmet.

Last year my GF forgot her helmet and open track was kind enough to let her barrow one. But when she plopped it on, she started screaming EEWWWW!!!! and quickly yanked it of... What we didn't know is that someone else had used it a little while ago and was full of nasty sweat inside! frown

Other than long pants, thats all you need.
