So over the past week I have been hearing a grinding noise that I thought was due to the wheel bearings. I had all the hubs/bearings replaced and found that the noise is still there. I was able to put it on a lift and found that while the car was on you could feel and hear a vibration and a slight grinding sound comming from where the differential is. I have a quaife diff and replaced the synchros and forks at the same time.

The sound seems to become more present when I am at a constant speed no matter what the speed, as well as when I am decelerating wether using the brakes or not. It also sounds like it is rotating and grinding against something at certain spots of it's revolution.

Is the diff bad? I did a search and couldn't find much on the quaife making these sounds.

thanks for any help/advice
