State of michigan wants 91.00 for a regular damn plate!

They do that here too. Fortunately, Jesse Ventura capped it at $99 after the second year.
A registration based on the value of the car versus a fixed rate is unethical and should be repealed.

yeah, but a custom plate is only like $35 more.
