aww, she's just a stubborn old lady, that's all.
Like my GL. It's hard not getting pissed at her for being SO DAMN HARD TO WORK ON - BLOODY OLD STUBBORN BISNITCH!

I think turning this into a mod meet might be pretty fun.
When is the last time we all got together for a large mod meet?
DMD?

If worst came to worse, I have an extra tour you can drive back home

I have a 4hp compressor and airtools, and everything needed to do the job, Elky should bring that jack so I can add it to the tools, I mean check it out. Hey we could even make a how 2 video lol

Too bad bradness doesn't have my subframe done, we could be doing some serious work hehe

The only problem I ever have (and maybe because it was a 4 bolt type arm) is getting that arm down enough to get it back into the knuckle. IIRC you do have to pop the ball and the tie, the press the axle out the hub.

haha..no jack for you!!

a cool trick for lowering the LCA enough to get the ball joint in:
take a short piece of chain, at least 18", wrap it around the LCA connect the ends with a nut and bolt.
then take a long piece of pipe, feed it through the chain under the LCA and rest the end under the subframe.
now you have a long lever that pulls down on the LCA.

i did my drivers side axle with brand new 4-bolt LCAs and got it down far enough just using a prybar.

don't forget to loosen the pinch bolt and slide the hub up on the strut, that will create extra clearence to get the ball joint apart

alright
So to get there for 1 pm, Mike and I will need to leave at 10 am.

Dan from Derry, NH Mike and I can meet you at 10:15 at the weigh station on I-93 south (a bit after exit 4, but before exit 3, in Windham).
Elky & Haroon? We can meet you at 10:45 at the Hannaford/Bally's plaza in Lowell (close to Elky's house)

From there we plan on taking 495 to 95S then down route 24S and into Newport.
