Why are there loops of 4ga power wire in the pillars where your tweeters should be?

It's loops of 10guage speaker wire for the tweeters. I haven't put them in yet because Canada Post lost my midbass speakers and until I get them there's no point in building up my front stage. So far this year Canada post has lost, or caused me to lose, over $1000. Worst part is I have no choice but to use them when people ship to me, and I can't do anything about it because they are a government run business.
