Security cameras work great. I love watching people stand at the door, especially annoying neighbors.

I know that I personally have probably 8 different bottles of cleaner in my bathroom closet. Windex, Lysol, tub&tile cleaner, Resolve, etc... Then you go out into my garage, and I've got dash cleaner, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, trim cleaner, etc... Between the house and the garage, I've got probably 15 bottles of cleaners, totalling probably $60+. Even if I can only get 50 bottles out of the gallon jug, it's still worth it.

My favourite door-to-door story is one that was in the news last year (IIRC) -- a bunch of people in Kansas got sick after agreeing to get work done by a guy posing as a door-to-door tattoo artist.

Needless to say, the "artist" got arrested for essentially going door-to-door selling hepatitis.....

Good evening Sir, my name is Steve. I come from a rough area. I used to be addicted to crack but now I am off it and trying to stay clean. That is why I am selling magazine subscriptions.

I'm sorry I do not know anything about any money laundering.

I was wondering when someone was going to bring up Office Space!

I've never had a real salesperson come to the door. Jehova's Witnesses in the past but nothing recently. I suppose living in the sticks (well, as sticky as the sticks get in central MA) helps.

I love my Kirby!

That said, I use white vinegar for most of my household cleaning.
