Thanks for the links. I called the guy that is selling two contours last week, and he wants $9K for the SVT alone. $9k is far more than I'm willing to pay for a 160-200km car in today's market.

I am also considering a US purchase now for reasons of selection and price. I'm probably too picky to shop only in Ontario and Quebec. ..but I'm willing to wait for the right car at the right price with the right previous owner, hopefully.
