I showed up to look at all the cars lined up in the morning. Nice 'Tours. Didnt want to stick around til 10:00 though. I would definately want to join a So-Cal club. Wish I could have met everyone.

Yeahhhhh I made it back to San Diego without going to Mexico..woooohooooo...Well it was great meeting everyone at FFF. Had a great time, we definately need to get some type of get together going...keep in touch guys..

why dont we have cruises and group events like the other chapters? Where is our fearless leader? I dont know about you guys, but a dozen or more Contours rolling down PCH would bring a smile to my face. Lets arrange something!

It's really hard to get some people to do things like that. Especially when you have people from SD, LA, OC, Riverside and the like. It's easier to have a meeting at a local, but central shop, talk BS, admire everyone's cars, and then go home. We can possibly go to Dromo 1 or Speedzone to meet also. I think it would be sweet if we rolled down PCH, go up to Zuma or something. But like Dion said the So cal area is pretty big and spread out...
Anyone going to Dyno Day?

Us Cougar guys havent had a problem with it yet. We have guys in San Diego, Im in Palmdale, one is in Santa Barbara....and we have meetings about every 6 weeks or so..our last one was in SD (with only 4 guys living down there) and we had 16 Cougars show up. If you CEG guys ever want to do a joint meet with us Cougar guys, you can pretty much bank on at least 10 cars showing up from our side. I am sure that we will hit 20 cars showing up sometime soon... If anyone is taking the responsibility to set things up for CEG, email me please at Chezterr@yahoo.com or come check out our website at http://www.geocities.com/socal_neco/ we could easily get 30+ cars if we team up...maybe 50+ if we include the Focus guys....that would be TIGHT!!!!! i was registered for the event, but could not make it.... i think that type of event didnt appeal to most of us...and actually, I didnt really want to go either, so i dont know why i even registered. Car shows arent really my favorite things to go to. (at least not car shows like that, maybe import car shows or LA Auto Show) I like doing cruises and what not, I cant go somewhere and sit around for hours and hours looking at cars, i get bored easily.
We are planning on doing a dyno day, a mountain run, a beach run, maybe a Magic Mountain run, and we also might have a meet in in San Jose with the Silicon Valley Cougars and the NorthWest Cougars (OR and WA)...so we like to go places and what not...we also might go to Vegas as well.... Car Shows just arent our thing.....
