When that is said it doesn't mean you have to force it tight. It actually is very simple to tighten and fits pretty good on there. I have NO problems with my 3530 on the CTA Motorsports MAF adapter. I am sure if you ask everyone they'll say its a tight fit but it only takes like 3 seconds more to tighten it because of that.
