You do realize that the video ran for 6 seconds before I took off, I didn't know that I had to start the video right when I was to hit the gas pedal. My bad for bad video editing. I think it took my car 10-11 sec to get to 55, And I never did any sort of brake torque,I guess I'll have to try that and put a video of it tonight. Like I said, I made the videos for the exhaust sound, not to show off the "speed" of my car... That would fall under the category of Illegal Street Racing and we don't condone that on these forums...
Thank you guys who understand how I feel for sticking up for me, it won't be forgotten.

i only did that vid to show people how a cut airbox sounded. also takes off slower when i brake torque it

Look, I'm not judging your intelligence, god knows that you must have a lot to be able to afford what you have, I'm just wondering... do all Supra owners behave like asses on chat forums all over the world? Is there nothing better to do with your time than to sit in front of a computer and break down a simple video meant to show sound and not the rate of speed a Contour can reach? I never wanted this to be a speeding contest and god only knows that nobody else in this thread did either. all that they wanted to do was show that a zetec contour has more potential than it receives credit for. Now I know you drive a 2 JZ, probably a turbo one at that. just remember one thing though. This is a Ford Contour forum, not a I'm richer than all of you so I can be cocky and bash all of the slower cars Supra owners forum. BTW, All of the supra owners I know are nice, as a matter of fact, they are so nice that they have helped me with some of the mods I have done to my car, so what we have here is a bully comming onto the little Contour forum and beating up on acars smaller than him giving Supra owners a bad name.

I think you are blind because I posted previously that I was turning, so I waited until a straight line to floor it so that way I wouldn't fly into a ditch. I thought you of all well seeing people would notice the ever blinking turn signal.
I have never in my history of beeing a troll on this forum, nor being a mamber on this forum seen any members ganging up on another member for a video he has shown, nor the pics he has shown, the first few posts were okay, it's to each his own... but when I see a video of a car running down the strip, I don't sit there and analyze it, I simply say "good job" or keep my fingers off of the keyboard.
I also say again It's not like every member on this forum has a Ferrari, so who's to impress with speed.

Cool stuff. I give you credit for trying something new, that's respectable. The boot looks a bit big as others have pointed, but I can see you pulling it off if you tightened it up. To the guy talking about putting the atxs in N on a hill to roll back, hell yeahs that's how we do it mang!  It's not bad for the tranny, unless you're reving it up and doing neutral drops. Regardless, both maneuvers are awesome!

Supradude. You have VERY few posts under your belt. If you joined to become a productive member, have a genuine interest in the platform, or need help, then that's fine. I suggest you start making good on one of those reasons, and soon.
If the only thing I see from you is bashing, and hatred towards our members, you'll just have to move along to some other forum that will tolerate it. I certainly won't.

I counted 0-55 in 15 seconds. it's sounds like your starting in 3rd gear but that's impossible since it's an automattic.
